What is Beauly and Kilmorack Community Trust?
We have been established as a Two Tier Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We have members who vote for the Trustees.
Our aims are to:
- Support people and community groups to identify things we can improve in the area and find ways to make that happen
- Encourage community development by working with groups to identify financial support to progress projects
- Promote, encourage and help to provide recreational facilities and activities for residents and visitors
- Support environmental protection and improvement.
A group of Trustees oversees the work of the Trust. We’re always on the lookout for volunteers to become Trustees, or to help out with projects, so get in touch if you’re interested.
Membership of the Trust is open to all those living within the boundary of the Trust area which combines the Beauly Primary School Catchment Area and the Kilmorack Community Council Area. See boundary marked on the map below.
Being a Member means you support the aims and objectives of the Trust. It’s not at all onerous, you don’t need to attend meetings or run any projects. But it does allow you to throw us out as Trustees if you think we’re not doing a good job!
